UN PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO.

A community from Chiapas to the world and from the world to Chiapas:

A MEETING POINT.

Nuestra historia
Our story

Since 2013 we started building this community that is united today by an interest of learning about Language, Art & Culture. Our lessons are focused on the development of languages, art, culture and social action. That's why your contributions help bring Arts & English language lessons to children in the surrounding areas of San Cristóbal de Las Casas.

Chiapas' Meeting Point

Founder & Director

Hello and Welcome to ChMP! My name is Edrei González and I am the Founder and Director of Chiapas' Meeting Point. I started this program to teach English and Art in order to help children better understand the development of languages, arts, culture and social action. My hope is that our program encourages our community to reach beyond just learning English and instead teaches them tools for success. A little bit about me: I have a PhD in Regional Studies, a Masters of Education and a Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching with a Minor in Visual Arts. I've got some scholarships to study and work in the U.S. and the U.K. I also founded Colectivo Xu'.

¡Hola y bienvenid@ a ChMP!
